Scheduled
Pagely will be conducting scheduled maintenance for a subset of VPS customers. We will be converting some VPS servers to the new C5d EC2 Instance class. Additionally, we will be upgrading some VBurst-2 servers to the new T3 instance class.

The changes will be happening on 2019-01-17 starting at 5:00PM Mountain Standard Time and lasting for 10 hours. Your server will not be down for more than about 3 minutes; we have a wide maintenance window so that we can get to all the servers in the selected groups.

This maintenance is primarily for servers in the following groups. Account owners were emailed ahead of time with group IDs:

us-east-1-c4-14
us-east-1-c4-15
us-east-1-t2-1

Additionally there may be other servers selected to be upgraded which are not part of a group, based on our performance analysis.

Both the C5d and the T3 instance types are based on the new "Nitro" architecture by Amazon. Performance is better across the board, which means your sites will run faster!

During the upgrade, servers will be unavailable for a very short period of time - typically less than 3 minutes. Following the conversion, our team will perform verification steps to ensure everything is back to an operational state.
