Pagely will be performing online instance class upgrades for database clusters in the Virginia region. Specifically, we are upgrading to the latest generation instances which will provide improved overall performance for database operations.
We exclusively use Multi-AZ (Availability Zone) RDS configurations, allowing modifications to occur online and with virtually zero service interruption. With that said, any maintenance action carries some risk of unexpected issues. If any such events occur, cached pages and static assets will continue to serve properly but you may experience intermittent inability to reach dynamic content. Our team is closely supervising the process and will handle any problems promptly.
