We will be performing a kernel update for the web nodes in our shared hosting cluster. This is in relation to the recent security advisories posted on our blog at https://pagely.com/blog/pagely-security-updates/
Reboots will proceed in a staggered fashion following the kernel updates. Sites will experience only minimal service interruption of a few seconds while failover mechanisms redirect traffic to alternate nodes during each server's reboot.
This update provides protection from the "Meltdown" vulnerability. While our specific hosting configuration already reduces the likelihood of any exploit being possible, the kernel update will ensure systems are fully protected.
