- We will remove ImageMagick packages and the PHP imagick extension at the operating system level across our hosting fleet. This change will not affect the use of ImageMagick within WordPress installations on our platform. - Work will be performed during low-traffic hours in each region. - We do not anticipate any customer impact; this notice is provided as a precautionary measure. - Customers with contractual maintenance notification windows will be handled per their agreements and will not be modified outside those windows.
User Impact:
- No downtime is expected. - WordPress media processing and site operation will continue as normal. - No customer action is required. - If you maintain custom workloads that directly depend on system-level ImageMagick binaries or the PHP imagick extension outside of standard WordPress workflows, please contact Support to review options.
